robert
I know we've had these in the past...but we'll start a new one since our shirts are becoming more popular and we're selling more and spreading this idea of vegan bodybuilding & fitness to a larger audience. I will produce all the shirts on American Apparel clothing, make all the orders, put in all the money, etc. and I'm looking for ideas of things you'd like to see. Richard and I are working on this. He has created the logos and designs in the past and will put ideas into action and design them and I'll print them, ship them, etc. So...what are you interested in? What types of sayings, logos, designs, etc.? Thanks! I look forward to feedback.
Richard
Yeah, please share your ideas here, even if it's just a phrase, or even just a word that you'd like to see on a shirt, and we can see what everyone thinks. If you have more specific ideas about the design; great. I can make designs out of your suggestions and post them here so people can give a reaction. Gaia
I was just thinking about that this weekend. I would like to have one that has VBBF on the front, with maybe the two letters on the end shaped into a front double bicep curl. And maybe the font can be SWOL and big (striations would be welcomed too ). And then maybe the lettering of vegan bodybuilding/fitness somewhere on the shirt (or even incorporated into the logo). And can I have the logo bright red, lettering black, all on a grey shirt?
Richard
Do you mean like the B would run down the shoulder and bicep, and the F runs up the forearm, like a tattoo?
Dr. Pink
What an awesome thread I have lots of interesting ideas. The Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness logo done Tie Dye fashion on black( A-Shirt sleeveless )( This ones my personal favorite and one I'd Buy Yo. I'd probably end up buying like 10 of them. XD ) Shirts with Robert Cheeks Signed Autograph( Mass produced style to save Cheeks wrists ) on the bottom right of specially selected VBBF Shirts ) Hot Pink Mens Tanks with the VBBF Logo in Black done in a paint spashh/Punk/Goth effect. VBBF Gun Long Sleeve Polos( The sleeves would actually look like bulging biceps ) See through Mesh style VBBF Shirts.
Gaia
Well, like the right slant of the lower case v would go up into the shape of an arm doing a bicep curl, while the lower case f (from the crossover of the f, or the top of the f slanting to the right) would go into the shape of an arm doing a bicep curl.I guess kind of like the W in the Moosejaw logo (http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/default.asp). Richard
so there is a bicep each side, as though vbbf is the back of a person, with arms coming out from either side

Richard
The Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness logo done Tie Dye fashion on blackSo it'd be the logo with lots of different rainbow colours all mixed together? Hot Pink Mens Tanks with the VBBF Logo in Black done in a paint spashh/Punk/Goth effect. Not sure what kind of effect you mean, have you got an example of that kind of thing? Is it like spray-paint / stensil effect? VBBF Gun Long Sleeve Polos( The sleeves would actually look like bulging biceps )Whaat??

I'll make a mock logo to give you an idea. Second one. I can't find an image of what I was thinking of. Third one. This one I thought of was really just meant to be sort of a funny shirt. For people who are not technically body builders. The sleeves would not look like normal sleeves. They'd look like arms( And even have the color of real arms ) The actual shirt combined with the arm image would make it look like you were a buff dude wearing a tank. Richard
Hah! But the arms would have to be padded surely, otherwise they'd just be flapping around and wouldn't look like buff arms, even if they had buff arms drawn on them. have a go at describing the goth / punk thing in more detail, so I have a better idea of what you mean
Dr. Pink
Yeah you're right. They would need some kind of padding As for the goth thing. Let's see how well I can describe that. The Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness words are in black. The style looks like paint that is running. There would be little splashes of black here and there( In an artsy fashion ) all around the shirt in little and big circles( Big circles not showing up as often as the little circles ) I saw the same style at Hot Topic. osric
I'd love to see something a little more earthy -- green or brown shirts, organic cotton, maybe a stylized vegetable flexing
liftandcode
A ripped cow anthropomorphized (sp?) standing up, curling a dumbell in one arm and holding a blender with a green smoothie in the other.

Aaron
Maybe something with a play on the 'guns' theme. Like a shirt that says "Ve-Guns" or something on the chest with arrows pointing towards the biceps? I don't know that I'd buy it but someone might. Or maybe I just can't picture it well.
Dr. Pink
Actually I kind of like Aaron's idea. Maybe have the guns on the back. Spread out like wings. Or maybe have the guns on both sides of the obliques. Spread out facing away from each other.
Dr. Pink
If you want Militant this is the way to go... A huge image on the front of the shirt. Tons of various different animals( And insects too ) decked out in Soldier/War gear. All of them ready to kick ass. The words," We're not gonna take it. No we aint gonna take it. Were not gonna take it anymore," An alternative would be this ,"We have had enough from you Fucking Omnivores. Now were ready to Fuck some shit up"!!! robert
I don't want to make anything violence related. I like the "gun" reference, but I don't know if I'm interested in using any gun suggestions or references in any shirts...only if it is in some sort of positive or joking way that would be interpreted well. Something silly could work, but not aggressive in anyway...that's just not my style and I wouldn't pay to produce them....but others might. I haven't looked through all the ideas yet, but keep them coming. I just arrived home an hour ago and wanted to hop on to mention that so we don't get a whole thread going about gun topics if I won't be printing any. Thanks! robert
I know man No worries, I just mean in general, I don't want to do a "gun" theme unless it is done tactfully. We'll get some cool stuff, shirts have been popular lately and I look forward to even more styles and designs. Thanks again everyone.
Aaron
Rob - To be clear, my post wasn't meant to suggest use of gun imagery. I only meant to suggest a play on the word vegan and the common usage of the word "guns" to reference biceps. My bad if that wasn't clear. -a
robert
No worries....I got it...I just didn't want to get off on a tangent...I like the play on words and use it myself, just didn't want to use any weapons as imagery. I called the t-shirt shop today and said I'd be by soon to make more orders

robert
awesome!!!!!! Great stuff! I just picked up 200 more shirts a couple of days ago (talk about more bills piling up) but I love it. We sold $1500 in shirts just in one weekend in D.C. which means tons of people are out there wearing our stuff! Thanks for this image! I think it is great! We'll be in touch. I have more and more ideas too and I'll share those in a bit. Keep em coming....as long as I can keep selling stuff, I can keep printing stuff and we'll spread a positive message on a global scale.
