veggieprincess
I've been scouring the internet for yummy green smoothie recipes. Would love some tasty ideas for Kale. Here is one I made today that turned out really really good! 2 - 3 cups spinachAppx 10 slices cucumber slices2 miniature organic applesLarge handful green grapes1/2 small banana2 tsp flax seed oil2 - 3 Tbsp Soy CreamerIce Of course you can omit the soy creamer and it will still taste really good. This was superb! So light and refreshing. I find that I don't like avocado and bananas mixed together because it makes my smoothies too thick. What about you? Post some of your favorites. cuBuwu
This is my favorite..and its really easy.2 sticks celery2 kiwis1 large mug of fresh spinach leaves1 carrotJuice of 3 oranges or mandarinsand a bit of espirulina! I liquidize the celery and carrotsjuice the orangesthen blend in the kiwis, espirulina and spinach *If it's too thick add another orange!!!For someone who hasnt tried smoothies before use 1/2 cup of spinach leaves and 1 stick of celery and all the other ingredients the same...only you should liquidize the spinach and not blend it in. Llike this you can only really taste the orange juice. I use this "light" smothie for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it!! The otherone looks like pureed frog-spawn or something and although it tastes really nice she gets a bit freaked out with the way it looks!!! A smoothie I take before training is really delicious..although its not green!! I just blend 2 bananas into 1/2 pint of soya milk with my vitamin B tab and a bit of espirulina. cuBuwu
Ok..so this is a smoothie for beginners! Even my daughter loves this and we all know what kids are like!Ingredients:Juice 3 oranges2 peeled kiwis2 cups of spinach Now blend it all together..if you are doing it for first time smoothie drinkers you could add less spinach. I also add some spirulina
