nou
I am going vegan and am wondering if fish oil goes against this concept. I'm pretty sure it does, I just want someone to confirm.

veganmomma
Fish oil supplements are an animal product. If you take fish oil supps you are *not* vegan. Flax seed oil is a good source of omega-3.
beforewisdom
I am going vegan and am wondering if fish oil goes against this concept. I'm pretty sure it does, I just want someone to confirm. To be clear, veganism is the belief that it is wrong to use animals to our own selfish ends. So,a person can be a vegan or a person can eat a vegan diet. Being a vegan means holding that belief, eating a vegan diet and avoiding using things from animals where practically possible. Eating a vegan diet means not eating animals ( fish are animals ), dairy products, egg products or honey.
