Fiber... how much do you get a day?

I happened to track my fiber yesterday and it was 44g. Seems appropriate to me. You can technically eat too much fiber, what I have read is that too much fiber will prevent your body from absorbing nutrients. I don't know how much truth there is to that, and/or what level is "too much". It's usually recommended that you get 25-35g, but that seems impossible to me, eating a vegan diet, and eating as many calories as I do.

I dunno how much.. I get a lot I think though.. I usually just go once a day.

 

I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome so I need to take probiotics and get lots of fiber to keep everything normal in there. So far, eating the same foods everyday and taking my probiotic every morning before breakfast works the best.

 

Last week everything was irregular cuz I ran out of probiotic pills. I was so miserable.
