McCombs' Life Force Plan - anybody know anything about it?

I've been reading about a diet plan called the Life Force Plan, which a friend of mine really benefited from. Has anyone else here heard of it? Or tried it? As a vegan, I imagine the limited 'Yes' foods would get boring (only fruits, veggies, brown rice, brown rice cereal), but it's only for the first 8 weeks.... at week nine you add tofu, legumes, and nuts back in....

For vegetarians and vegans they recommend an amino acid formula to supplement protein intake, which I imagine would be necessary for those first two months.
