bodybag
xjohanx, I couldn't find anything about the food he eats on the bodyspace page, however I'll take your word for it. I'm not judgemental, but this is a vegan board. Dude are you interested in changing to a strict vegetarian/strict vegan diet? RAINRA
Yeah don't think that guy is vegan. Cause Vegans if they build a body like that will brag that they are vegan... no mention of veganism anywhere.

I think you should try the 30 day vegan challenge, or else you haven't the pair you think you have.Come on, play nice! It's totally possible that he doesn't even know what a vegan IS, and just saw a bodybuilding site, and wanted to share his physique with us. Not everyone knows what "vegan" means. Some ppl think it refers to a location or even to an ethnicity (hopefully a terestrial one ). It does appear that he is nonvegan however. But being a jerk to him WON'T convert him. Dr. Pink
Heh. It appears as though Veganism can be used as a place or a ethnicity. Here's what Wikipedia had to say( On various other uses of the word Vegan ) # Vegan, of or relating to the Vega (Alpha Lyrae) star system# Vegan, a native, or citizen, or resident, of Las Vegas, Nevada. Vegan Joe
No, I wasn't talking to you.. I said that beacuse someone criticize me because I eat meat..But i didn't know that this site was only for vegetarian people.. The Forum's VisionThe vision for this forum is to inspire, motivate, educate, and empower its members to change the world in a positive way, thriving through the networking of like-minded people who are drawn together to accomplish a common goal; to reduce animal suffering through the promotion of a healthy plant-based diet and exercise lifestyle. The Forum's MissionThe mission of this forum is to provide a fun, friendly, welcoming, respectful, mindful, tactful, and friendly environment for members to discuss topics revolving around the vegan bodybuilding and fitness lifestyle. All members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards all other members, moderators, and administrators of the forum. This being the case, I don't see were it say you must , (and I underline must) be a vegan to post here. It would make sense. Which is one reason why I offered up a 30 Day Vegan Challege to you. If you are interested knowing, learning and experiencing something different in your life. I would ask you to stay, and see what you think. I would also like to offer you some friendly advice: Don't be overly judgemental. Learn what you can and then when you have come to a point, draw your own conclusions. If vegan is too much to ask, maybe you could start with vegetarian. You should realise that there are some here who are very adamant about there beliefs, but you will find this in people everywhere who have strong convictions. So what do you say?Up for a challenge?Up for a learning experience? PS There is a difference between Vegetarians and Vegans. Basicly it's eggs and cheese, but it does go deeper than that.
RAINRA
fede35140, (In a postitive tone)No one is chasing you away. Your welcome to participate and learn. I think it just came off as like you were bating us when people here are working on natural builds and many people out there are supplementing on growth hormone and animal hormones to increase size. Just most everyone here is Vegan and those who come, come with an open mind, and are curious why people here are vegan an how they can learn how to live better an kinder. It is for many also to come here and learn to what it is to be vegan. Education is what we strive for. It is hard to see it from your side because you have not seen this side. It is not popular with most of the lifting community to not eat animal products and unpopular to not eat animals. So call it a new way to look at things and breaking myths about building muscle. The issue is not because they have something against you. I am being very serious when I say that people are not against you at all, we just wish that you come here to learn. Cruelty to animals is so bad that it resides deep with in most of us and it bothers us that you must understand. When and if you will ever understand that, then you will see why people get offended when they see that you eat chicken and cheese and want to ask people how you what we think of your workout. Well we will say get rid of that as food and then come back and then come back and post your body and you will get good compliments. Come and learn Edited November 24, 2008 by RAINRA
RAINRA
oh and this site is not just for vegans... also people trying to go through the transition and or learn about veganism. Not vegetarianism or eating animals. So for people who could careless about changing what they eat... this site will probably not be for them. AGAIN this site is forVegan people and athletes or people with an open minded who want to learn veganism and make the transition.
FormicaLinoleum
fede35140, I imagine that it probably didn't help that this was your first post on the board. When people come and just post a video without an intro or other participation, it comes across as spam-like. If you are interested in this board, go post an intro and start participating. I am sure people will be welcoming if it's clear that you are interested in this board and being a part of this community.
