Thank you my friends

I'm not real big on celebrations of any kind, including birthdays....so I went about business as usual, shipped out a bunch of things, sat in front of the computer and trained legs for 2.5 hours

Tasha hosted a party for me which I think was exclusively forum members and about a dozen of us got together tonight for a couple of hours. Thanks Tasha....it was nice to get people together again, including some we haven't seen since Vegan Vacation! It was very thoughtful of you to do that for me and I enjoyed seeing a lot of good friends

I left the gym at midnight....goodbye 29th birthday. Hello two workouts tomorrow Thanks for your comments here and to my surprise, 300 wall comments on facebook today.

After my workout I was kind of hanging my head just reflecting on things and thinking about how much work still needs to be done for me to get where I want to get, etc. and I was in the parking lot of a mainstream grocery store at 12:15AM getting some quick food for the drive home and some guy enthusiastically yelled, "Hey, Robert Cheeke!" He is a fellow vegan and a fan of the website and enthusiastically chatted with me while I was sweaty and waiting to get home. He was thanking me for the work I do in veganism, etc. ..I didn't hang my head quite as low for the ride home. I'm too much of a perfectionist...even as a motivational speaker I have a hard time feeling content...lots more work to do...better eat and sleep. Early morning tomorrow en route to the gym.

All the best everyone..... -Robert

Happy birthday mate! Sorry I'm a bit late, but better late than never!

I love bodybuilding since getting older doesn't make you worse, statistically it makes you better! Most of the best bodybuilders are +30 years.

Don't get down on yourself. sometimes I think those kind of feelings surface just from training so hard. The exhaustion of your body also tires your mind a bit. at least I know for me I feel like my kicks never come out right etc. I am much harder on myself than my trainers sometime. Have a good two workouts today!
