topher
Has anyone ever tried scheese? It's supposed to be vegan "cheese" imported from Ireland. I recently heard about this & plan on making a trip to a health store to buy some. So, is it pretty good or just a waste of money? Sounds disgusting, but I'm willing to give it a try. I have been having a hard time, no...a very hard time finding a cheese substitute. I love cheese. And yes I know what's in it.
xjohanx
Not good at all. The only decent soy cheeses I know are redwoods.
aura
never tried that one, but "fallow your heart" vegan cheese is pretty good and it melts!
AEscalante1
You can make your own sheesh. http://www.ehow.com/how_2053821_make-raw-almond-cheese.html My friends make their own Raw sheesh--its really good. But it might be a taste thing. I have never tried to make it and I have not have any store bought brands, so I don't know.
topher
Thanks for the heads up - I'll be sure to look for them at Chamberlin's or Whole Foods. It doesn't really matter if it melts, I just need the flavor & texture of cheese.
offense74
I think it's decent. I usually buy one or two at christmas and easter. Good with mustard.
