Vegetarianism proves to be perversion of nature

Vegetarians can be referred to as true fanatics. On the other hand, they are seriously misled in their beliefs. Practically nobody argues with them, since it is really difficult to convince a vegetarian of his or her self-deception. May be that is the reason why the vegetarian movement develops so actively around the globe and continues to recruit many new members.

That isn't a reason at all. You didn't even tell any of the beliefs! People are recommended to be vegetarians because factory farming is as cruel as concentration camps and producing animal products cause huge amounts of greenhouse gases.

To produce a cell is not an easy process for the human body. Being a parent to all cells, a human being is supposed to be responsible for all of them. The human body is unable to generate all substances necessary for the production of cells. It has only 12 or 20 protein amino acids required for the process. The remaining chemicals are supposed to be delivered with food. Each and every human cell is supposed to be supplied with first class animal protein.

Each and every human cell is supposed to be supplied with first class protein. There is no such substance as "animal protein". There are only different kinds of amino acids and you can get all of them really well from plant-based food or your body can make them. The American Dietetic Association considers well-planned vegan diets "appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy and lactation." (1)

Some may say that there is enough protein in vegetables (beans, for example) True, but recent studies show that vegetable protein can be digested only with the help of its animal analogue.

That is simply not true. There are millions of people worldwide living with vegan diet. Getting protein as a vegan doesn't seem to be a problem since you can be even a world champion in bodybuilding with a vegan diet. http://www.veganbodybuilding.com/?page=bios

The human body has its own preferences, by the way. Experts proved that our body requires and assimilates the following substances as construction materials:

Egg white – 100%

Soured milk – 90%

Fresh milk – 83%

Beef – 76%

Cottage cheese – 75%

Compare this data with that concerning vegetable protein:

Wheat bread – 52%

This is the main reason why dietitians recommend to consume 60 percent of animal protein and 40 percent of vegetable analogue from the daily ration.

First of all, there is no such recommendation which says that you should get 60 % of your protein from animal sources. At least not in any diet recommendation which is based on science! You should start by looking at the recommendations by Harvard: http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/pyramids.html

Those lists of yours only show the best animal protein sources and pretty much the worst plant protein source. Let's check another list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_Diges...mino_Acid_Score

whey (1.0)

egg white (1.0)

casein (1.0)

milk (1.0)

* soy protein isolate (1.0)

beef (0.92)

* soybean (0.91)

tubercules (0.74)

* vegetables (0.74)

* legumes in general (0.69)

* kidney beans (0.68)

* rye (0.68)

* cereals and derivatives (0.58)

* whole wheat (0.54)

* lentils (0.52)

* peanuts (0.52)

* seitan (0.25)

I put an asterisk in front of vegetarian sources. Looks like soybean is as good as beef. How about that?

No vitamins and mineral substances are of any use if our organism does not receive animal protein. Like vegetable protein, they can not be digested without animal protein.

That is just crazy. I know people who have been vegan for decades. I mean, without ANY animal substances. They are very healthy. You just can't say something which is simply not true!

Vegetarians, especially those of advanced age, usually face numerous health problems that are mainly caused with the shortage of animal protein. After two months of no-meat diet, the quantity of protein in the cardiac muscle decreases four times, which triggers the development of heart failure. The work of all other organs worsens soon after. A vegetarian man or woman may find themselves on the brink of dystrophy.

Actually vegetarians are a lot healthier. Vegetarianism is considered a healthy, viable diet. The American Dietetic Association and the Dietitians of Canada have found a properly-planned vegetarian diet to satisfy the nutritional needs for all stages of life, and large-scale studies have shown vegetarianism to significantly lower risks of cancer, ischaemic heart disease, and other fatal diseases. (2)(3)(4)

First signs of dystrophy are not that evident and burdensome, but the resulting effect may lead to lamentable consequences. Have you ever seen starving African children on TV? Then you must remember those thin legs and swelled bellies, which dystrophy causes.

After that you can ask how on earth did Carl Lewis win all his olympic gold medals while being a vegan. Or preferably go fight MMA fighter, UFC champion Mac Danzig if you think that muscles degenerate if you don't eat meat.

If you are going to have children, do not be in a hurry to join vegetarians. Many people think that such lifestyle produces rejuvenating effect which showing a positive effect on the reproduction function. However, reproduction depends on animal protein to a large extend. If a man does not receive irreplaceable amino acids with food, he can become infertile in perspective.

Oh yeah that explains why there are so few people in India (hundreds of millions of vegetarians) and China (people eat very little meat and have done so for centuries).

Furthermore, cosmetologists say that a typical vegetarian has dry and fragile hair, dull eyes and unhealthy complexion. They can hardly stand criticism and have a low boiling point. They raise their voice, swing their arms and splutter when arguing. They are weak even in their logic. They exemplify their righteousness with the cow, a herbivorous animal, and say that nature originally made a human being as a vegetarian creature.

I myself am a hair model even though I've been a vegetarian for most of my life. If they can't stand your criticism it is because you tell things that are not true. Lying to people makes them angry. How about trying to tell the truth next time?

Human is an omnivore, capable of being a herbivore. If someone tries to prove you otherwise, he simply doesn't know squat about human body composition.

Experts have recently put forward a hypothesis that can justify vegetarians. Scientists assert that there are people with irregular metabolism. They do not need animal protein at all. However, such people can be described as a mistake of nature. There are many of them, but most vegetarians are mistaken in their devotion according to this theory.

What on earth is a source for such bullshit? Go do searches in pubmed and try to find a single article supporting your theory. There are none.

Of course, meat is heavy food, but nobody says that you should eat plenty of it. A person can eat at least 100g of meat (which is the size of a matchbox) a day to feel healthy.

A matchbox cannot fit 100g of meat. It's actually impressive how on earth can anyone write an article in which there are errors in virtually every single sentence!

Oh yeah, really good arguments and facts. Good job Pravda for providing us objective information once again!

The person who wrote this article is insane, probably due to animal proteins. He is eating corpses and other wastes of nature and wants other people to become necrophageous also. Animal protein is linked to dementia and other degenerative diseases like Parkinson and Alzheimer. Dairy is even worst than meat. We need first class amino acids, only plants can make amino acids, all the rest is by-product. Even carnivore animals, who should be designed to thrive on meat, can function on this diet to survive and reproduce but they don't thrive and are subject to many disorders of the metabolism. We don't have the physiology nor psychology of a carnivore, but meat-eating leads to a violent behavior and pathology.
