ShaunLucas
I'd been torn on what vegan protein powder to buy, so I finally got one at Whole Foods in Illinois called "100% Vegan Protein" by Biochem. I've only had 1 smoothie so far and it was good, I used soy milk, soy yogurt, a banana, and 2 heaping scoops of powder. Everything I used was vanilla flavored so it was really sweet, but still good. What do you guys think about this product and/or smoothie combo? Any suggestions? I keep reading about VEGA on here and see it all over the place...is it "the" protein/performance powder? Thanks! -Shaun
chrisjs
That stuff you bought looks pretty good... a blend of hemp, pea, and cranberry protein. I get cheaper stuff at trueprotein.com.
GinaKina
Looks good to me too. Although I also buy mine on trueprotein.com. Once you know what you want in a protein powder you should definitely think about ordering from there, I find it to be much more affordable. Vega is good...I don't think it tastes great, but that's another story. Its also super expensive.
astracner
I use 70% Gemma Isolate, 30% Rice Concentrate, Protease Enzyme Complex, and Banana Bash Premium flavoring from trueprotein.com. They have a system where you can build a custom protein powder blend. I've had great results and definitely enjoy the flavor of this particular mixture.
