djshrew
I used to take my Ipod to the gym, now I don't and all they play there is the sissiest of the sissy from Top 40. Lady Gaga and Swift Taylor sure make me wanna bench press 100 f*ing pounds they have mtvu on at the gym at my school, it's the same situation. crap crap crap
mikkei
I always listen to music when I'm working out;Propagandhi/Strike Anywhere/Rentokill are my favs...sometime rise against and older thrice stuff. Fast and turn it up loud. I find it helps me get psyched up for heavier weights. Word. Propagandhi and Strike Anywhere totally get me pumped for lifting. I also like my Trial, Seven Generations, Verse, and Have Heart.
xJox
For some reason lately I find myself listening to podcasts. I just like the background noise, I suppose.

Haha, that is kinda weird I must say. But whatever makes you lift... I've been listening a lot to battery and sportswear lately. Awesome bands! JãoP
Don't really like music while lifting, but some hardcore on the way to gym really helps focusing. As for cardio, is pretty much all hoppy 80's music, this morning it was Kate Bush.Gyms in Brazil sure have the worst music playing. It's like you get in and get out, and the same trance/house/something song is still playing as loud as possible, sometimes louder than my headphones at the max vol.
