cubby2112
Besides you and Vegan Joe, it gives lots of people gas. You should adapt to some extent, but will probably always get some gas from it.
Marcina
I used to get terrible farts from soy. I've adapted to it mostly now. I still fart, but now it's just for funsies

JãoP
Soy is really high in fiber, fiber makes you fart. It's not all bad though, by having lotsa fiber you help your digestive system work, lower insulin levels on your bloodstream and feel less hungry. It's not all bad though, by having lotsa fiber you help your digestive system work, lower insulin levels on your bloodstream and feel less hungry. But what about other foods high in fiber? Like carrots? or other bean sources. I believe it must be the processing of the Soybean that is giving me gas. I am fine with bean sources that are just beans and have not been processed in any way, but with Soy protein...I think it is different. Any ways, thank you all for your comments ^_^

JãoP
http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/vegetables-and-vegetable-products/2324/2http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/vegetables-and-vegetable-products/2383/2http://www.nutritiondata.com/facts/vegetables-and-vegetable-products/2621/2 Soy is reaaally high in fiber. What's strange though, is that when I'm cutting I practically live on soy beans, tofu and tvp, and I get by just fine, but when I'm not I have to save my beans for the weekends. It's a real bummer, I love having beans, it's a great food, and brazilian people have beans on a daily basys... must have something to do with gases on beans or something. Marcina
Beans always make me fart. So does cabbage. I have to stay away from cabbage. I banned myself from it.

nobbi
Tofu is terrible and gives me bad farts. On the other hand I have no single fart problems with soy powder. I use soy protein (brand Lucovitaal) from the Dutch company PK Benelux Import BV http://www.pk-benelux.nl/consumerEN/files_merken/functional.htm
