Im Your Man
After homo erectus and homo sapiens, here is homo toxicus... A global-wide experiment is in progress, and we are the guinea pigs. See the trailer, hilarious ! http://homotoxicus.com/english/index.htm Or check out the first 2 minutes: I've seen this documentary and found it excellent. Original version if French, hope you can view it free online in English version, otherwise you can order online on http://www.homotoxicus.com The movie talks about all aspects of intoxication. Substances in food, food packaging, water, etc. Also, not in the movie, but what electromagnetic fields from electric devices around us, some people may suffer of chronic pain due to this, just a plugged tv might cause a migraine; an headache might be an alert to a developping disease. Some people are very sensitive to paint molecules, varnishes, cleaning products and other poisons in the air they breathe even in their house. In another story we learn that toxic products like BPA were removed from toys but still used as food preservatives in cans or plastics ! These products are especially harmful when exposed to heat, well: canned food, they use those petroleum products inside the can to protect food from metal, then they irradiate the whole thing and then this stuff goes in the food. They analyzed the food and found it. Those toxic products, proved to cause cancer, infertility or to be endocrine disruptors, are found in our body before we are even born ! Now, some lovers of traditional medecine or some haters of any kinds of natural therapies who don't believe intoxication exist will say : The LIVER ! It filters and flushes everything that might create problems. Unfortunately it ain't that simple, with over 6,000 different substances just in the colours they put on packaging , especially when someone's liver got tumour cells, because of the stuff the liver is exposed, it cannot clean so well, especially things that did not exist when the liver and humans got created. Some plastics they use to put cereals or whatever in it, may contain 10,000 substances, this does not include the dozens of preservatives, artificial color and flavours in the food itself. Recycled paper and cardboard, supposed to be eco-friendly, are much more toxic than normal paper, because it contains toxic ink from newspapers, this ink is mineral oil based made of petroleum, oil. This is used to pack food. Now it Switzerland those recycled cardboard and kind of oil are banned for food packaging. Now what about nano particles, GMO's, et cetera... Fallen_Horse
I don't know about the rest of the documentary, but the EM sensitivity is usually seen as a joke.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_hypersensitivity"The majority of provocation trials to date have found that self-described sufferers of electromagnetic hypersensitivity are unable to distinguish between exposure to real and sham electromagnetic fields,[2][3] and it is not recognized as a medical condition by the medical or scientific communities." Just because someone cannot feel it, doesn't me it isn't causing harm. Cancer clusters around high tension power lines suggest that there might be a lot more to EMF's than we think we know. Im Your Man
Its not in this documentary, I just talked about that because I've read some articles about it, but its another kind of pollution. I guess noise and light pollution could also give serious headaches and stress to some people who live in big cities.
