JMW
I need a suggestion for a good protein powder. It needs to be low/no fiber and have no stevia in it. The simpler the better, and I'd also like to avoid anything that is reputed to cause a lot of gas/bloating in people with sensitive stomachs or IBS. Thanks. Cold Fission
Get stevia in your body, playa. http://i51.tinypic.com/2rzxx03.jpg
vegimator
I would guess rice protein would be your best bet. You can get some from trueprotein for cheap or buy sunwarrior.
thendanisays
Natural Sun Warrior fits the bill. Also its not gritty at all. tastes pretty good. http://www.veganproteins.com for the best deal
Cold Fission
Natural Sun Warrior fits the bill. Also its not gritty at all. tastes pretty good. http://www.veganproteins.com for the best dealI was thinking that at first but thought it had stevia in it(which is great), but the natural flavor doesn't have any stevia in it so that would be what JMW is after. JMW
Thanks for the suggestions. I've read good things about Sun Warrior but they don't sell it locally and it's a bit out of my budget at the moment. I picked up some MLO brand rice protein and it's a little grainy but not too bad thrown in a blender with some fruit and rice milk. Downside is it probably wouldn't mix too well or taste very good in shaker bottle if I was on the go and didn't have access to a blender. I bought something called "vegan protein" by bio-chem (rice/pea/hemp combo) for when I'm on the go, but I haven't tried it yet. Going to try it tomorrow. chewybaws
I have soy milk + cheap brown rice protein in a shaker every night, tastes damn good. Occasionally can get a small lump or 2 at the top though yeah, but doesn't bother me. Could try something like this if it bothers you http://www.myprotein.co.uk/products/myprotein_mini_blender_bottle_400ml Apart from the first couple of lumps I think the consistentsy is pretty good.
