My student

Recommended Posts

I talked one of my students into entering the Snake River Powerlifting Competition today.

He did.

He's 16. He wore a pair of tennis shoes, shorts, a T-shirt and borrowed a lifting belt. No squat suit, bench shirt, or any of that.

He squatted 347, benched 220, and deadlifted 451. I forgot to add, he weighs 148 pounds. The under 198 lifters were applauding him after his final deadlift. He was amazing today. His goal for next year is a 400 squat, 500 deadlift, and a 250 lb. bench.
