Sounds legitimate but is there any more evidence around it? We know that fiber is definitely good for a healthy body, this would definitely be another good quality of it! Hyper-dosing mice is not a great strategy for looking at human effects over the long-term, but this seems to just be another study showing the benefits of getting more fruit in your diet. Not that I'm 811 or anything, but fruits and veggies have been shown time and again to have great positive influences on human health. So I think the takeaway message is: eat up!
