Duncan_Idaho
Fruit, the sweeter the better, the more the better. Thus you will restore your glycogen levels fast and it will stay for a long time.
kckas
I'd add nuts or seeds to your oats since fats help you feel full longer. I like hemp, sunflower, chia, flax, and pumpkin seeds. I'm currently eating steel cut oats with soymilk, raisins, chia, flax, and sunflower seeds. It keeps me full. I also drink hemp protein powder with BCAAs and water when I first wake up. VeganEssentials
My first meal of the day is almost always lower carbohydrate with high protein and moderate fat content, usually keeps me good for about 4-5 hours easily enough (most days I forget to eat often enough because my first meal holds me over so well!)
