vivalasvegans
Wow.. My ideal physique is not of a muscle bound body. But rather a strong but very feminine build... The hourglass figure.. Nice rounded arms small wasp waist. Nice strong legs and a round booty... Well developed calves and arched feet... Any ideas on how to get there??? See samples below wow.....Arched feet? Really? Feminine build is in the eye of the beholder. To me, arched feet, brazillian wax jobs, and breast implants aren't feminine, they're ridiculously limiting, like foot binding. I don't think too many runners or cyclists (or anyone for that matter) can function as well after all their pubic hair has been ripped out by the roots. And I'm sure the extra weight of double e sized implants reduce performance significantly, and at the very least cause back problems. To me, a strong but feminine build is one that lets women be as strong as they can be http://www.stcroixtriathlon.com/images/karentrek.jpgspeed is sexyhttp://www.college.columbia.edu/cct_archive/jan03/images/Vardaros-new.jpgcheck those vegan quadshttp://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/12_03/running2212_468x436.jpgdelts ready to get down

vivalasvegans
Well, there are certain "rituals" that a lot of, for instance, cyclists participate in.

I suppose the guys that run 70sbig.com... The guy looks pretty solid, but he has the upper back musculature of a 5 year old girl Correction, I've seen 5 year old girls with better upper and lower back musculature than him It's a shame to have a front that looks that good and neglect the entire upper and lower back (and possibly everything else from the waist down). Anyone care to take bets that his legs are about the size of his forearms? I guess some people are primarily concerned with showing off their chest and arms. I don't understant it myself, but to each their own, I suppose!
Jason X
good point, ryan. that sucks. you've gotta be right. i was willing to forgive the back, but bird legs are not acceptable.
sosso
Agreed. He looks like the typical gym-goer who might do a couple of sets of quarter squats as his leg workout for the week. I'd love to be proven wrong though. To me, powerful strong legs and backs are much more impressive than huge pumped up chests and arms. http://www.tmuscle.com/img/photos/07-085-training/image010.jpg http://stronglifts.com/wp-content/uploads/ivan-stoitsov.jpg
cubby2112
I am the opposite of most: all back and legs. Cool with me, because I love muscular backs and legs. I think it is mostly because it gives a "workhorse" look. If someone has a huge back and legs, you know they are going to be able to do some hard, heavy labor. Or at least they look capable. VeganEssentials
Nothing's better than a back that's so thick, you could lose a handful of change in the musculature!

Jason X
First off, Dallas, what gives with you, man? No offense (ok, maybe a little), but here Henry Rollins is a huge influence to you, but in your music thread it's all disturbed and godsmack and Korn?!?! DUDE! Give up on the radio metal and roll with Henry. He'll steer you in a better direction. State of Alert for the win! Back on topic. (with terrible music)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT_3LAhd0LE&feature=related (except I want legs to match the top body!)(I have been failing at embedding videos lately. not even gonna try tonight) this dude is just amazing. Jason X
What's wrong with radio metal? Music is just subjective sound. You mean aside from the "angry" lyrics? Except for the lyrics are absolutely meaningless (more often than not. there are exception). It's teen angst music made by dudes in their 20's and 30's trying to cash in. I 100% get being angry and singing about it. Most of my music is pissed about something. But most of what I listen to is tangible. That, and it just sucks. BUT, you're free to listen to what you want to. I don't really care. My point is that Henry Rollins could have gotten you into so much more meaningful music. You're right on the cusp. And yes, music is just subjective sound. Until you add words. otherwise we'd all just listen to instrumentals. The words are what make the song meaningful. OR maybe I'm way off base and I should shut up. that's likely too. Go give black flag and state of alert another chance. Read the lyrics. connect with the songs.
