I saw a two-page blow up of the very first pic in this Muscle and Fitness article (http://www.muscleandfitness.com/caveman_routine/training/223), the one where the guy is holding the sledgehammer atop a tractor tire and I got dizzy, I was so enamored. On so many levels. Freakin' beautiful. You can't see the elaborate detail here but in that four-color glossy blow-up, every vein and tendon is performing some sort of power choreography across his arms, chest, and legs. And that intense latissimus "V," God, how that rocks.

Have to go: dizzy again.

I agree, it is my ideal physique, too. I have to work more on those lats!

Sweet, vege! I'd say you already have the shape for it. Cable pull downs are your (and my) friends. Looking forward to some "after" shots of you around the holidays: Merry Christmas to me! Ha, ha!

Another reason I like this guy in the photo (I couldn't learn his name for some reason, he's not credited) is that his abs are hard but not sticking out like a xylophone. It's my preference that men don't have waistlines so cut into sections that they look like some sort of freakish insect. Exoskeletons are for bugs. My $0.02. Everybody's different. Please don't cut me open for this.

PS: Nice blog! And funny comments, too :D It reminded me I could go hiking again, I haven't done it for about a year :o

Thanks, vege. I'm not a bad photographer if I do say so myself, just wish I had a newer DSLR. My favorite adventure to date is the one to White River with my buddy, Alex, and his dog, Shane. That's them on the front page of my blog, snowshoeing down a hill on that very trip. I love, love, love snowshoeing--it's the ultimate winter four wheel drive and what a freakin' WORKOUT! Here's that adventure report and a podcast I did with him about it so you can hear what we both sound like: http://allthoughtswork.wordpress.com/category/snowshoeing/ We talk about the snowshoeing trip at -22:30 minutes in.

I definitely recommend hiking. It's ever so much more exciting than a treadmill or stair climbing machine.

Actually, I looked at this picture again and decided that he needs a wider waist. More fullback, less receiver. Ha, ha!

Pauline Nordin. She's on my inspiration board too! You can follow her on facebook (fighter Diet) I've read all about her diet concept, very Extreme but interesting. Something I might follow (altered of course) pre-contest but I'm not into having very low body fat all year. great thing is she seems open to people being vegan!

Erin Stern for sure!!!! I think I have possibility to actually reach (or come close to this anyway....one can dream). What's inspiring to me is that we're a similar build, she's tall too =D
