You can use the resistance band versus a pull up bar if you're clever and follow the instructions they give you. Ditto with the weight lifting. I don't have the capacity for a chinup bar in my basement so I do the resistance bands and simulate it muscle-wise, so to speak.

 

Yes, the workouts definitely take a bit of time. I think that's really the only downside to the program I've found. I've also done the P90X+ version, which is awesome. I bought P90X2 and have yet to give it a shot, training for it right now, really.
