Simi
So, I have avoided anything with added taurine so far, because I believed that it was animal-derived.However I read this morning that it was first discovered in a bulls digestive system, hence the name, but the taurine found in many drinks and supplements is synthetically made and not derived from an an animal at any stage of its creation.Just wondering if anyone can confirm this? Thanks!Sim
Petitpois
It is not derived from animals at any stage of creation, it's always synthetic to my knowledge... wish I had a link to share though. But as always, if you want it to supplement your diet look out what else is in there (caps made from gelatin or so). Solgar makes taurine vegan supplements if someone is looking for some.So as myprotein.com.
