Halfway through Smolov, quads are gaining size. Feeling pretty good about where I'm sitting right now. I've made the decision with a lot of thought that within the next 5 years I'd like to compete in a strongman, on top of continuing powerlifting.

Two potential meets in the Summer. End of May and Mid June. Hopefully I'll be around to hit both of them.

It's been five months or so since my last update of a photo. Mainly because I rarely take progress photos and rely on my journal to tell me more about my lifts and strength increases.

Last photos on here I was sitting around 190. New ones I'm at 180.

Still hitting all the lifts I could when I was heavier. Feeling a lot better as well.

Awesome, man. Good to hear. I'm looking forward to them.

 

And thanks, man. I dig both bands and drew it up because I thought it'd be kind of funny.

 

Also noticed that you're into cycling, too. Are you riding while lifting? I have a car but have commuted by bike as my main transportation for the last few years and am still riding to work. I only have about an 8-10 mile round trip (recently moved a little closer) but that's still about 300 cals. to subtract from my day. I figure I'm going to have to put off the longer road riding up in the mountains of Colorado this spring and summer unless I want to spend even more on groceries...
