offense74
First of all, the dude rocks!! Secondly, I found this at Wikipedia about him:On March 24, 2004, Simmons was arrested and charged with assault after allegedly slapping a motorcycle salesman at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona. The salesman, Chris Farney, spotted Simmons in the crowd and said, "Look, Richard Simmons! Drop your bags, let's rock to the '50s." Simmons replied, "It's not nice to make fun of people with issues." He then lightly slapped Farney's face. Farney, who was uninjured, called the police. Revealed later was that Farney, an ex-convict, was recently released from serving three years in prison after being found guilty of aggravated assault. All charges against Simmons were dropped. robert
I know where he has been. In photos and on posters plasterd all over my wall in my bedroom! I can release him anytime but it's cool to have the constant motivation while I'm busy doing push-ups and sit-ups on the floor. -Robert

BrandonC
Is he vegetarian or vegan?
robert
I think "Awesome" is the word most commonly associated with Richard Simmons, but I don't think he is vegan. He is a stand-out guy, pretty unique. I'm sure there are some great video clips of him online. .....he helps people lower their weight, which I think is what Madcat was referring to America needing him more now than ever....we're getting pretty big over here and have to adjust all kinds of things, elevators, chairs, etc. to accomodate the average citizen's bodyweight increases over the years. -Robert

kollision
He's funny. I remember watching a comedy show poking fun at him because he went to New Orleans after Katrina struck still dressed in the same clothes and with the same attitude. Doesn't he look like Bruce Willis?
