finbarrio
Despite the apparent irony of the subject line - I know there are some folks from Germany on here and I have to go to Hamburg next week for work and am wondering if anyone knows of any vegan-friendly restaurants in the city??Thanks. jonathan
You absolutely have to go to hin und veg . I think it is almost completely vegan, and the vegan donner is the most utterly amazing meal. the website is www.hinundveg.de, the telephone number is 040 59453402, and the address is shulterblatt 16, hamburg. Its pretty close to the centre, maybe 20-30minutes walk, but its well worth going. Its quite close to a U-bahn stop too. Its open 11am until midnight every day Have fun, and tell me what you think of the donner kebab! Jonathan

flanders77
On this side: http://www.hamburg-vegan.de/01-02.htmlmany vegan(-friendly) restaurants and bars are listed. This forumpost is about breakfast at millers: http://hamburgvegan.foren-city.de/topic,76,-fruehstueck-im-millers.html Besides hinundveg I recommend Maharaja (listed) and of course the lamberts (call before visiting). If you have questions translating the websites just PM.Enjoy your stay! robert
Some of my friends from Oregon will be going to the World Cup. I thought about joining them, but I won't have the time or money to do so. Someday I'll make it out to Germany, to Bad Homburg, and other places. We're still thinking of hostin our 2007 Vegan Vacation in Germany (this year it is August 3-9 in Los Angeles). Guten Morgen!
