They are so OP that I just can't stand any of their songs I hear on the radio anymore and I used to love them!!! Cown
There's nothing better than heavy metal when lifting! For light weights or cardio, any music will do really, but when you're pulling a heavy deadlift or struggling through those very last few squats, metal trumps all. TallCanz
Hatebreed, 100 Demons, Trapped Under Ice, Ringworm, Integrity, old Metallica, old Blacklisted, Blood for Blood, Xibalba, and stuff like that are typically what I'll be throwing on when the going gets tough. I have some really mellow stuff that I like, Gandalf's Sanctuary or some shit like that. Weird at first but I find being able to calm the mind before a big lifts helps me to keep my heart rate a little lower and focus better.

I could see that being really helpful, actually. Trying to switch to something mellow before a big lift would just be so weird lol but I might have to try it when I get back into heavy weights. VeganEssentials
Today, plenty of metal on rotation. High on Fire, Mastodon, Orange Goblin, Black Sabbath and Motorhead to make for a good work playlist.
Mini Forklift
I'm more into the guitar stuff. I'm a blues guy, so my influences are players like Freddie King, Steve Rothery, SRV, Hendrix etc. For the gym my playlist tends to be music like Megadeth, Dream Theater, Vai, Van Halen, Chickenfoot and that kind of thing. Depends what mood I'm in.
