My progress

Recommended Posts

I thought very long putting my pictures here for everyone to see. I'm shy and afraid of what people think about my skin. I have NF1 and it causes nasty looking but usually harmless spots and tumours to my skin and nerves. I feel uncomfortable when I have to be in revealing clothes if someone I don't know well sees me. I have more courage nowadays than few years ago, thanks to Love of my life. So I decided to be brave and put my pictures here and tell my own story.

My project started when I managed to loose weight.

I dropped my weight from 74kg (163lbs)

to 60kg (132lbs)

Here I actually weight 57kg (125,7bls)

Then I started to go gym and grow muscles.

After a year of training I decided to burn some fat away.

At starting point my weight was 63kg (138,9lbs).

May 23rd 2012

After 1,5 months dieting my weight was 58kg (127,9lbs)

July 15th 2012

At the end of my diet (fat burning) my weight was 54,5kg (120lbs) and it is my lowest at this height. I look so little and my muscles are empty (during the last 1,5 weeks of my diet I ate only 20-40 grams of carbohydrates per day.).

August 17th 2012

Now I weight something between 65-66kg (143-145lbs).

I don't have a proper picture of myself at this point.

I have been growing my muscles and eating well for 7 months and I have two more to go.

I start to burn fat again in June. I think I gained weight too fast after my diet. So there is more fat than I had planned to gain. I hope that I have gained some mucle too. Next time I have to be more careful after diet. I have to increase my calorie intake more slowly than I did last autumn.

Here you can see what happened between June 2011 and August 2012 (first picture have actually been taken in October 2010, but I looked similar enough then than I did in June 2011)

Hi minon!

You shouldn't have to feel ashamed about your body, those spots are hardly recognizable and you shouldn't feel the need to hide them. Your progress looks wonderful! And you really did a good job with the toning up there. Looks good and with a little bit more muscle you'll look fantastic!

Last week I realised that I had some stretch marks around my wing/arm pit area. Not particularly something I dig, but that's actually unavoidable when you go through bulk periods. I also noticed both of my male colleagues have mild to heavy stretch marks around their triceps and wings. Nobody tells you this you find out once you start adding muscle (and fat). So everyone (or most people) have something they'd like to change, some things are within our power, some aren't. the things that aren't, are usually what gives us character anyway (freckles, big calves, pointy ears and whatnot), so it's a win-win when ya think about it

Insane progress! Your shoulders look awesome.

I think i understand your insecurities when it comes to your skin and revealing clothes, i have a huge (almost 2 feet long) birthmark on my back/left thigh and dreadful body acne so yeah summer is hell. But if you can't be comfortable in your own skin when are you ever going to be comfortable? My confidence is a work in progress. Thanks for posting your results, I love looking at before and after/current photos, its great motivation.

Thanks everyone!

This is me yesterday, after 6,5 dieting (about same left to go - burn fat burn )

Something must have happened because I weight more than in the beginning of the last summer but my waist is smaller.

I'm not very good with back posing, but I'm learning....
