Signed up for first 100 mile running race

Hi guys,

 

Just letting you know that I'm taking a break from powerlifting as I was given an invite to race a 100miler in five months time

 

Needless to say I am back on the roads/trails trying to get some running fitness back! My primary goal is of course to finish; secondary goal is to finish under 30hrs, but ideally I'd like to think I could get close to the 25-28hr mark. We will see...

Feel free to follow my training in my journal, I still plan to keep up with the weights but obviously won't be training as heavy as I usually do.

Will post up all my running in there though, hopefully in another couple of weeks I should be back up to 100 mile training weeks if all goes smoothly. Anything is possible if you want it bad enough! MF.

Thanks mate ~ Vibrams are great. Love them. I just can't justify spending a few hundred on a pair when I can walk into The Warehouse and buy a shoe for under a tenner than will do the same thing haha.
Like this answer alot, I go along the same line of thinking haha
