How is the Body Transformation Challenge going?

Recommended Posts

While all of you are finishing up the last few weeks of the Spring Shape Up Contest, i am getting ready to start the summer contest. It has been 4 years since i did any weight training (I was very sick for several years) - but now that I have my health totally back I am ready to commit to this contest. I have chosen the Body Sculpting Bible for Women by Villepigue & Rivera as my action plan and have a balanced 1800-2200 cal vegan nutrition plan all set. My goals are: lose fat, build muscle, and be a better vegan!

I'll be checking this thread throughout the summer

YES, I am finally noticing some progress. I still have to do a lot for the university, but I managed to be at 2 works out / week. Well, not as good as others, but for me quite well right now.

I was motivated at the beginning of the contest and after the first 3 to 4 weeks I kind of lost it somehow and started to eat cake etc. again with phases of no regular workout

But when I was putting on more weight again (I wanted to lose some actually) I was so frustrated that I finally discovered some disciplin within myself. I didn't even know I had some.

And now I am getting stronger, I am losing weight and I can FEEL the difference. I don't know if it is good enough to be seen on a picture, but I am happy about what I have achieved so far

I also really want to continue with the summer contest

The spring contest was just the warm up

I'm now where I wanna be!!!

I have had a very strange emotional feeling come over me in the last week, as if my Fruitarian/transition journey has come to an end, almost as if I have finally reached my destination at last.

Over the years it's been my desire to prove that someone CAN build/maintain muscle and live a healthy, active life living a Fruitarian lifestyle and to share my transition period with anyone that would listen and in that time I've absorbed much negativity, especially in the beginning, so this is a particuly happy time for me.

Anything else now is a bonus!!

I wish I started this thing last year...I was a chunky fellow a year ago...now I'm in way too much pain to do a crash course in body change...I've been doing it so consistantly for 8 months I think I'd need a good 2months of diet rest before I could really trim down...that or I could just gain all my muscle back again which would probably be much easier than losing 15lbs of muscle which is what I'm working on now and probably forever.
