Last of the Sane
Hey there Me & Runner were thinking of arranging a meetup in holland, doing some sports and some eating. Of course this is mainly for people from holland but if you live close (germany, belgium) or just happen to be in holland at the time you're welcome! Gym hater
I don't know if I'll be able to attend, but option 4 has my vote. Or just catch a movie somewhere. Or maybe go to a concert in de melkweg.
Last of the Sane
I still like the climbing plan, haven't climbed since I was about 14 yrs. old so I think it will be fun, but option 4 is also okay. Maybe it's easier to talk during a non-sports activity. A concert would be nice too but there would have to be a concert that we'd all like. Gym Hater, are you from holland? Tarz
I never knew that Holland was a part of the Netherlands. I always thought Holland and The Netherlands were one and the same.....
Last of the Sane
When I was talking about Holland I meant the whole of the Netherlands... (I'm not even from the provinces of holland myself) Runner is right that Holland actually just signifies two provinces but is common practice to say Holland when the talking about the Netherlands.Confusing? runner
don't worry.. sometimes dutch official teams use holland as name for the netherlands

Last of the Sane
Canal bike? You can ride a bike on the water??? Yeah, well, it's actually a small boat that is propelled by pedaling. It's fun. Tarz & Gymhater, are you sure you'll be able to attend? I mean, can we fix the date? Sacco
Gym hater
I know for about 80% that I'll be able to make it. I have some exams after the weekend, but if there aren't any on monday there's no need to study on a saturday. I should get the exam roster sometime this month. nobbi
Sounds cool. I have been taken a long break from weight lifting and need to start again with any kind of sports. Climbing sounds good. I have never done it before (only in the gym as a child). I don't think that I am strong enough for climbing, but it could be great fun. And eating... I am always in for eating. Amsterdam is only 50 minutes for me. Canal bike... well, if I must...
