loveliberate
Robert - that's right. I forgot that you wont be going down to Corvallis for a few days... CollegeB - Do It! We can have a Vegan Bellybuilder photo contest!
robert
Yeah, my first thought when I saw this, aside from the photos taken yesterday, was that it seems like a title for a feature: Robert vs. Jonathan ....or one of the other strength guys purposely hiding the abs and building the belly It sounds like a good contest loveliberate. Maybe we can get lots of people involved based on goals.....of course soon I'll be joining the bellybuilder club with the UK strength guys. jonathan
Haha! I successfully lost my abs, something that I am quite proud of! At the moment though I think that I am possibly gaining a little bit too quickly (14lbs in 3 months) so after this crazy russian squat routine is done (5weeks, or when I find myself in hospital) I will consider easing off a little. Up to 259lbs right now, and hope to be 264 in 6 weeks time, which is the magic 120kg mark. Great that you are giving time to bulking now Rob - I don't want to see you even thinking about entering any competitions until spring 2008! robert
You are a mass-building machine! I can't believe how quickly you are gaining weight! I hope I can channel that same focus and do the same. I won't be "competing hard" until 2008 but I will be competing in a show soon for a non-profit organization, a good cause and to have fun. It is to raise money for at-risk kids and it is put on by some really nice people. So I'll still compete but won't be at my leanest, oh well. Maybe we'll start a bulking contest just like the shape-up contests we've got going. You would probably be the champ Jonathan, and need some sort of championship belt like a pro wrestler Keep eating! Crystal
I successfully lost my abs, something that I am quite proud of! Hum, I think I saw a remnant of them whilst I was over . You'll just have to try harder . I will consider easing off a little. Up to 259lbs right now, and hope to be 264 in 6 weeks time, which is the magic 120kg mark. What? Easing up? You?!? This is a side of you I've never seen Jonathan . Hope the crazy squatting routine goes well!

You'll just have to try harder . Nooooooo!!! I try so hard but yet I still fail! I will consider easing off a little. Hope the crazy squatting routine goes well! I feel like my body just needs a bit of a rest to get used to the mass that I have now. A mid-bulk interlude if you like......but after that there will be no stopping me as I get to 300lbs Rob, great that you are wanting to raise money for good causes, but in the long term you would possibly do more good if you were 20lbs heavier and in a position to win any contest you entered Jonathan
CollegeB
Right now I can only think of lines from fat bastard. http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b352/collegeb/P1050612.jpg Everyone caption this photo! I'll start. Get in my belly!
robert
Awesome pic Collegeb, It's about as big as your new avatar! Jonathan, Wow, 300 lbs would be pretty impressive!!! I don't really care about winning this contest coming up soon, just want to try to donate my time and entertain some people. So I'm actually bulking as I get ready for the contest. I won't diet at all, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Like Daywalker, I'm naturally lean, so I'll still be in pretty good shape. Odidnetne
Jonathan, you make me laugh, even though I know you're a powerlifter, in a world where so many people are overweight and out of shape, you're quite possibly the only person I could imagine saying "Oh! I STILL HAVE A 6 PACK! ARGH!" I'll get in on this too. It's hard to take pictures of myself and actually see the definition or actual size, so please excuse the stupid face as I try to flex out as much as I can for my solo pictures. Guest
1000crunches a day seem to do nothing for my stomach visually. I was big way too long...tummy tuck may be my only option
