_raVen_
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060715/nysa012.html?.v=47 This gets me so ! I'm not sure of the details of this just yet; but I remember when Emes "vegan gelatin" was exposed as animal gelatin and how angry I was because I had been using it in my vegan recipes Even if only some are non-vegan, it sure makes them suspect -- at least in my view. I will always question their product. This was the best vegan parmesan I've tried. I swear, I'm glad I'm eating fresh, whole foods; no issues like this for me anymore. Guest
I've tried it and hated it...theres a great one from italy sold in PANGEA but its pricey...after I bought it I loved it but it wasn't worth the expense...now nutritional yeast is more than good enough for me
CrispyQ
Raven, I think you should try the stuff linked to below. I have only mixed it with liquid to make a sauce, but I don't know why you couldn't use the powder in place of the parm stuff. I gotta tell you, I love this stuff. It has become my fave cheeze sauce. ~slurp! viewtopic.php?t=2900

_raVen_
Yes, it's good. It's not raw, though. Nutritional yeast is not a raw food It's very easy to make yourself, by the way. I actually prefer using different nuts and some seeds Thanks, Crispy, but I'm eating raw right now
andesuma
it's 50% raw because of the walnuts (the first ingredient).. I don't know where the pendalum swings on that one, but it's more raw than any other option out there.. : )Althought not 100%
