Hey guys.

I'm currently staying at Veganpotter's place in Richmond, VA.

We took a daytrip to Washintgon, DC on wednesday, here are some of the pics we took there.

The Sticky Fingers Bakery, a great place to go and a must-visit for all vegans who go to DC! The soft-serve is fantastic, as is everything else

And here's Potter inside, doing what he does best :

That was just the beginning... i didn't take a picture of all he ate, but here's another, hence the expression of bliss:

Here he is eating (?) and driving at the same time. His comment on this picture: "This is the picture that will make Tigress move to Virginia!"

These two from the Smithonian Air and Space Museum are especially for Crystal

Here Potter caught me while i was trying to get some cash for our lunch...

There are a LOT of museums in DC, but this place was AWESOME!!! We had tons of fun looking at stamps, we indulged ourselves so much we forgot to take more pictures! It must be the greatest place on earth... maybe i'll move to DC just so that i can go there every day!

This one is dedicated to compassionategirl:

They have a really big door at the National Archive I wonder if anyone can open it

I wasn't too excited about the indian fastfood we got for lunch:

But Potter seemed to like his (does he dislike anything edible?) - and no, that's not my brain he's eating there, Richard, it's a fried bread!

Me in a touristy photo, trying to imitate Franklin's pose (guess i'll have to work on that one):

Before we returned to Richmond, we had another visit at Sticky Fingers

I had to have another soft-serve

We met Doron, owner of Sticky Fingers and a forum member, her business partner Kirsten and her husband, Peter. Awefully nice people, no wonder they make such great vegan treats!

I'm having a great time! Today i'll go to Pittsburgh and visit veganmadre and MichaelHobson there

I think there might be more pics to come

When Daywalker gets back from Pittsburg we'll probably head back to DC...and go out to eat with the Sticky Fingers crew...then we'll bounce and head off back to the Postal Museum since there were a bunch of exciting stamps that we didn't get to see yet...hopefully Daywalker can control himself and not steal any. I don't think k-oz would be happy if he wound up stuck in prison in the US for stealing stamps...but its a risk we must take...he can't come to DC and not get to see the stamps...its the real reason he came here anyway...the Vegan Vacation was just a minor bonus and excuse

I wish there was something to do in this area of Pennsylvania, I'd have invited Daywalker up here too.

Hehe, we drove through there last week on the way back from Maine. There is a beautiful national park along route 209, but other than that it seemed pretty empty. Too bad you're not close to the Burgh.

Great pics!

Thanks for posting them. I haven't spent time in the city of D.C. in 12 years, even though I was there 2 weeks ago!

So I'll have to make it over there soon.

Thanks for all the photo updates as usual.. Have fun guys!!!

If you headed down you should come down when Veganmadre and Mike come down...we can all head to stickyfingers before or after Panda Veg...so long as you can hang with eating a bunch of cake after a vegan buffet

Great pictures and updates ! But, where are more? Its been a few days now . . .

Aaaww, thanks! That would be so cool to see some lunar rocks, but I'd want to hold them, then break off chunks to make into thinslices to look at under a microscope and I don't think the Smithonian would be cool with that .

Can't wait to hear/see more about the east coast adventures . Keep us posted!

I hope you eat as much as VP so that you are getting as big as your scottish friend sometime

Believe me, it's impossible to eat as much as VP.

I've never seen a person who even came close to the amount he eats. He just never stops eating. I think he has an anatomic defect, so that his stomach has no working sphincter at the exit - all the food goes directly into the duodenum. I can't explain otherwise how he can eat without ever stopping!

We'll see...next time we go to DC(in a few days) we'll be going to the Postal Museum. Hopefully he can control himself but he sounds a little too excited for comfort. I know he plans on stealing one of the vintage Postal Uniforms and who knows how he'll react when he sees all those special stamps(especially the one's with Rod Stewart, and the rare David Hasselhoff stamps)...if he gets caught I don't have enough money to cover his bail either so it may just be cheaper for you to visit here

I don't think that will stop Alex...it could be on the corpse of his most favorite mailman and he'll still rip it off...maybe take some bones with it

Alex and I definately took advantage of the softserve...it was the best soft serve ever...they're also gonna have temptation icecream when they move to the new location in DC so I'm gonna need to visit then too.
