_raVen_ Posted October 10, 2006 Share Posted October 10, 2006 On PBS, most likely tonight or tomorrow, explores Christian (far) Right moving toward environmentalism. Funny -- a ranch-owning, horseback-riding, hunter-pastor feels it's God's will to "take care" of the planet LOL. Even seemingly good news has a hypocritical ridiculousness to it. I've always maintained, if any group should be concerned about nature, it should be those who call themselves Christian. In that segment of the report on youtube, they somehow needed "permission" to be. I won't hold my breath that there will even be a mention of animals having the right to exist unmolested, much less not consumed; but wouldn't it be nice, if at least, the mention of the devastating environmental destruction directly caused by factory farming made it into this report.
