I am transitioning from two years of training in Kuk Sool Won (a newer Korean art which few are familiar with) to Hapkido. There is no school for Kuk Sool near my new residence, so the change is necessary. Since both are Korean, and from what I have read about Hapkido, arts which are comprehensive and take techiniques from all the arts of Korea, should it be a fairly easy transition? Will the two years of Kuk Sool help significantly in my Hapkido training? Reading about Hapkido, it really seems to be the art for me, so the change will likely be a good thing anyway.
