robert Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Hey man, I thought your intro was spam because when I read it, it just mentioned Notorious BIG, Pac, etc. so I deleted it assuming it was spam. We chose not to allow name changes because it would be really hard to keep up with and certain people would want to change their name every few weeks or months and it creates more work for an already busy couple of guys running the site, and can make it quite confusing for members and visitors. We've had just 3 or 4 people that I know of change their name so far (MontanaVegan to Jason) for example and that has worked well because people figure it out since he's an active poster. So anyway, sorry we don't allow it now...maybe in the future...it's just more work and a bit confusing for people, though starting new accounts is less confusing and within a couple of days or weeks people adapt to the new name. Sorry I delete the intro....thought it was spam because it was just one sentence and didn't reflect what your forum name used to be, didn't have an explanation, etc. (at the time I read it). I was trying to be humorous with the intro. "Life After Death" was the title of a Notorious B.I.G double album released after he was murdered. I have a flare for the dramatic. Sorry for the confusion. I PMed Richard because I thought he deleted my Introduction because the Bin Laden reference was offensive. Off Topic: A friend of mine thinks Bin Laden was killed a long time ago in Tora Bora Mountains and the tapes that have been released since were recorded before his death like Tupac and Biggie.
