robert
Does anyone want to share their fitness goals for 2007? I'd love to see more vegans get on stage in bodybuilding or jump into other sports and get competitive out there! For me....I have lots of business goals, but as far as fitness, I'd love to compete a couple of times. I was going to take the year off, but I want to compete at least once each year. I hope to have some good showings up on stage and I'd love to hit the stage weighing over 190 lbs. All the best to everyone!

Zack
My goals are to stick with the raw food diet, and hopefully build a good physique doing it, and once that's going along well, be a voice for the raw food diet.
Trev
To keep pushing my training limits, to run more and to fight full contact again, now that my ribs seem to have healed. Specific training goals are to build a brick wall of abs, to gain a little weight and bulk (I'm gaining at a rate of about 2 lbs/month right now but I'm still 10 lbs under the ceiling of "lightweight" which is 155lbs) and to just be stronger all around. All this on a predominantly raw diet.

Trev
Thanks! Yeah, it's all planned out... Now I just gotta figure out how to squeeze working at my job 14 hours a day, 5 days a week in there somewhere!

Don't be silly, you have plenty of time, 2007 is going to be an exceptionally long year, in fact I think there's 365 days this year.
andesuma
I am going to be running a marathon.(preferably the Portland one..) I'll be doing cycling and some swimming on the side, because I'd like toget more involved in tri events next year... but, I want to focus on runninga marathon first. I'll be starting out with a Winter running training schedule, (to rack in a good 20-25 miles per week)Until I start marathon training in March. SiNa94
-Continue to lose weight-Get down under the 200 lb. mark (coming from almost 300 lbs. )-Work my way up to a consistent 5-7 miles of walking a day (more of a problem with time management and dedication than actual ability)-Start running... if I lose enough weight that it doesn't feel weird anymore...-And I might start working on my upper body this year... I need to do it, I just have to get out of my comfort zone. And seriously, I'd be just happy putting this off if I can accomplish all of my other goals. sydneyvegan
I guess my main goal is to continue reducing my bodyfat whilst maintaining my muscle mass. A six-pack would also be nice... Just something about having that wash board stomach... sigh....
jonzen
My goals are pretty much the same as those of Sydneyvegan: I'd like to lose some body fat while building a bit more muscle. And yes, I would like to have something that approaches a six pack!
Odidnetne
I'm going to try to add on quite a bit of weight for the first few months, then cut off whatever fat I might put on in the next few.
nicole
I want to develop a regular ashtanga yoga practice at home. It's a style that I love and have not yet dedicated enough time to exploring, so it's a good goal. Also, I'm going to the FL Keyes in March, so I want to look better in a bathing suit than I would if I were to go now.
hmm1219
I'm going to be onstage again this year, but maybe only 2 or 3 times and NO back-to-back shows. That was painful last year. Live and learn. I'm going to shoot for 4/7/07 (the SNBF Georgia), but if I start dieting down and realize I'm not "there", I'll push it back. My goals are to lean out my torso more, my trainer's goals for me (haha) are to build my back and shoulders so that my waist appears smaller than it is. I have a SpongeBob Square Pants torso. My actual "resolution", however: completely streamline and organize my office and home.
