robert
We had our voting up for about a week to give those interested an opportunity to vote for our destination. With over 80% of the votes, we chose Portland, OR as our location for the 2007 Vegan Vacation. I look forward to being the main organizer and having our great city host this great event. I know many of the Portlanders from this forum will help out quite a bit as well as a few others who are coming over early. Now, let's pick some dates and make this thing happen! sxejustin
I finally work at a place where I get paid vacations and would love to schedule a trip out west to see some friends who moved out there and come to this event! Keep it going!!
xdarthveganx
I think early august is a little too hot. late august early september seems to be better with 80 degree days and what not. But hey just a suggestion

pelicanAndrew
I agree with your logic, it's just not going to work out schedule wise. We're just going to have to roast our vegan buns off.

pelicanAndrew
I used to my parents not turning on the air conditioner until it hits about 85. By then there's no way in hell our old central air system is going to cool the house off to anything below 80.

pelicanAndrew
When i went white water rafting they gave us wet suits to change into. Still was refreshing. Took a category 5 water fall. That kicked so much ass.
