Gorilla
This was when my diet still included cooked food: http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/843/bulkingupbs8.th.jpg [i edited the original post and made the comment: "Not good" - I went on to say that bulking up on pasta and spinach caused water retention and "bloating" in the long-run. I don't look lean in that photo but I had made gains in strength and size.] [The photo stopped loading up so here it is again plus a couple of others of when I was bulking up] http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/87/bulk.th.jpg http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/3898/39227.th.jpg http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/581/39223.th.jpg http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/6073/39231.th.jpg Edited June 10, 2011 by Gorilla

We have some big plans for you with Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness and veganbodybuilding.com Let's talk! Well done. I need to get re-focused on bulking again soon too! Great! Let's do it I need to find someone to take some really good, high resolution pics: the ones I've posted have just been from my webcam, as you can see. Perhaps you'd be able to PM me when you get time so we can discuss what we need For Odidnetne: Some people say that pasta isn't good for you, but I've always found that this combination of pasta and spinach has a ridculously anabolic effect! Another great combination is organic whole almonds with organic blueberries. The amazing thing about organic almonds is first they taste amazing (like marzipan), and secondly I find the more I eat them the more my abs are revealed, and I build size all round. My guess is that fat is burnt because they are high in fibre. Oh yes, and I'm easily drinking around 5-6 litres of pure water per day (on training days). On rest days, around 4 on average

pelicanAndrew
I can't wait until i live in an apartment next year. My roomies are going to be pooping just as much as i am with the amounts of kale/chard/spinach/broccoli/bok choy/cabbage i'm goin to have. Not to mention soy noodles, tofu, tempeh, beans and other assorted fruits and veggies(until they go out of season). Next year is going to be vegan paradise. I also plan on reforming my cafeteria so we can have better/more vegan options or labels on things that are vegan.

Gorilla
Cheers guys. Should be getting some photos together soon. The legs are getting pretty big too I'm tucking into a huge salad with a load of avocado + flax/hemp/oil as we speak Good to hear you other guys are stocking up on food too - the challenge is to make sure you've always got enough in the cupboards/fridge. The eating is the easy part

Gorilla
Cool. The spinach is steamed of course: amazing how a huge bag of it reduces down to like two mouthfuls when you steam it!
pelicanAndrew
I hate cooked spinach. I can only eat it raw or in a green smoothie.
cubby2112
I hate cooked spinach. I can only eat it raw or in a green smoothie. Mmm, spinach is awesome in any form. Steamed spinach was availabe in my lunch hall today and I grabbed myself about a pound and a half of it with about a half pound of raw brocolli and not too shy of a pound of tofu. I have been having trouble gaining lately because I was focusing too much on raw veggies and was barely eating any beans or tofu. My protein intake was extremely low; I was eating healthy, but I want to build for the contest.
