Personal challenge, 30,000 in 30 days

I really need to lose some weight.

For the next 30 days, it will seem that I'm living on the treadmill.

I want to burn at least 1000 calories per day.

The treadmill's calorie counter is what I will be using.

I walk with an incline instead of running, so it takes a while.

 

Hopefully with an almost raw diet I will shed some excess baggage.

 

Sunday, June 1

 

8 AM - 400 calories

 

4 PM - 431 calories

 

10 PM - 400 calories

 

Total 1231

06:30 - 430 calories on the treadmill

 

08:00 - honeydew melon

 

10:00 - 1 banana

 

1 PM - romaine, broccoli, carrot salad, but had bottled dressing.

 

4 PM - strawberry, blueberry, banana smoothie

 

5:30 - 433 calories on the treadmill

 

7:00 - 1 scoop of vega

 

7:30 - 3 bananas

 

8:00 - handful of cashews, I've been hungry since 1/2 way through my last treadmill

 

8:30 - 2 bananas

 

9:00 - Bench Press, Flat Barbell, IsoLateral incline and decline

 

9:30 - 250 calories on the treadmill

 

 

 

1113 Calories for the day

3404 Calories for the month

Do you mix that with water? Also, great job with your squats! Good luck on burning 30,000 calories walking on your treadmill

Yes I mix the berry flavored with water, I really don't like the choco or regular.

About 1 scoop per 2 cups of water.

I prefer the vega with soymilk, but I'm trying for very high raw.

9:00 - Worked the arms tonight, and also some abs

 

9:30 - 223 calories on the treadmill

12:00 - cooked meal out with friends. Vegetable Fried Rice. I left most of the rice.

 

4:30 - 1 small cantaloupe

 

5:30 - 466 calories on the treadmill

 

8:00 - 1 honeydew melon

 

9:00 - 1 orange

 

9:30 - 226 calories on treadmill

I was going to deadlift, but the place was very busy tonight

 

10:15 - 1 scoop of vega

Thanks VI, Crystal and bunny.

I'm ahead of schedule so far.

 

I don't know how much to expect to lose.

2 inches should be easy, but 4 would be really nice (but not likely).

 

I won't be working most of the rest of the month.

So there is no reason to not make it to at least 30K.

 

I am feeling a little obsessed with this goal already.

Between treadmilling and lifting, it's taking over 3 hours of my day.

If I lose at least 2 inches, then I consider it time well spent.

That's something I want to get used to as well - 3 or more hours doing something that I enjoy and that makes me feel really good physically, mentally, & emotionally. Good luck - I hope you can retain the enjoyment aspect of all your hard work!

Hi bunny,

The treadmilling has been more work than enjoyable.

I feel like a hamster running in his little wheel.

I would rather be hiking some hill somewhere else.

This is good though, some temporary boring hard work.

The prize is worth the hard work.

 

But I do feel better, eating mostly raw and working out.

I sleep better through the night, no more tossing and turning.

At least I don't notice it like I did before.

I've been slacking to only 2 treadmills per day.

My dad came to town Monday, but I'll pick it back up to 3 a day soon.

Jumping Rope is another great way to burn some calories, unfortunately it doesn't have a counter for you to keep track, but this looks awesome, and I'm glad you're doing so well.
