flanders77
Not really mono-meals... but they look......DELICIOUS!!! I nearly took a bite of my monitor!I love fruit! I usually do not mix them except when I prepare salad for which I use tomatoes, sweet pepper and cucumber. And I always eat melon mono or before the other food because it is digested so quickly. _raVen_
SirVeganism, that looks quite yummy . I make my raw pasta, similarly, but a different type sauce -- do you put oil in yours? You should try other veggies for the noodles too.

velocycling
Just got back from our weekend at Living Light. If you are interested in what raw food cooking can be. you have to go there. We are finishing our kitchen remodel, today. It has been a month with no kitchen. Hard. But, with this weekend's course and the new kitchen it is a new beginning. My wife wrote in her blog about a man we met in the class. His story is of becoming raw and how it changed his medical condition. http://cheflandria.com/ Edited January 22, 2008 by velocycling

velocycling
The raw "rice" is made from parsnips and some pine nuts to make it sticky. Tonight, we had Raw Spicy Thai basil fried rice with a raw "chocalate mouse pie". Being raw, of course we had the dessert first. I never had desserts when I ate cooked foods, now we eat them all the time. Since I are cyclist, weight is a kiler, but with raw I have lost about 8 pounds even eating desserts. Cool

andesuma
My dinner tonight... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v486/andesuma/000_0151.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v486/andesuma/000_0148.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v486/andesuma/000_0149.jpg Homemade sweet basil hummus wraps with cucumber chips!(so I ate the cucumber while I was making it all...hah) I went light on the hummus (sprouted garbanzoes, olive oil, basil, etc.)since I've been eating Fruitarian and this meal was actually VERY heavyfor me. This pic was of the (three) wraps opened. It consisted of:Chard & Kale for the wrap partsmear of sprouted hummus with thinly sliced red cabbage, romaine lettuce, red pepper and parsley.Made like a taco pretty much. A gigantic sliced up cucumber on the side, that I ate first! hahThere was no room on the plate. And these photos seriously do NO justice to how huge this thing was, that plate is like the size of a hubcab! yummmm This is an example of stuff I make for myself, quick, easy, and nutritious!
