Guest
Today I went out for a long ride but had to cut it short. It was pretty fun at the start even though it was snowing. I was test riding a set of $1400 wheels from the shop and they were incredible. Anyhow I had to cut it short when after about 2 hours my bike wouldn't shift and would barely brake due to all the ice. I had my mother take some pics of me when I got home. For some reason I look really wide in this picturehttp://img399.imageshack.us/img399/892/99860841sm2.jpg Then encrusted ice on my shoeshttp://img223.imageshack.us/img223/8379/51959748rh4.jpg Ice covered crankarms, chainstays, and carbon fiber spokeshttp://img399.imageshack.us/img399/5697/46492167ru2.jpg My dangerously frozen brakes...I had to squeeze them really hard to do anything at all.http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/1774/66267343ol0.jpg Frozen Rear Derailleur that wouldn't shift at all for the last 20 minutes of my ride.http://img399.imageshack.us/img399/310/61707249hg7.jpg I've got a new sprocket made out of icehttp://img528.imageshack.us/img528/7779/67866287zf5.jpg My bike getting ready to take a bathhttp://img528.imageshack.us/img528/2994/85936759lp1.jpg
