As much as veganpotter is right in that there are many more reasons to avoid cooked food when possible, I think that the formation of toxic compounds is still a very important thing to consider... I'm not about to completely remove cooked food from my diet, but I take anything that's going to put my body through any kind of extraneous stress seriously, as it undoubtedly will have a negative affect on performance and recovery -- even if it's only a slight one. ...of course I'm also a little crazy about this whole nutrition thing.
