CollegeB Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 I was living in denton up until aug 06 when I moved up north, still have a few vegan buddies there, and there are plenty of places to eat out if you dont mind driving a bit. Oriental garden, I hear that cool beans has a vegan burger, mr chopsticks...though it moved so might be a new name. Ave c and scripture I think is its location. The greenhouse has a few options. The cupboard has the best salad bar imaginable. Try their tofu with sesame seeds and barley mix...great stuff. The bruce hall cafeteria has plenty of vegan food if you live on campus. I recently heard the pita pit is an option. Ohh and shop at drug emporium. Its got tons of vegan specialty foods like stonewalls jerky, and the TX amy's burgers ($2.56 a box...very good deal). I had lots of great mexican food and a good veggie burger and fries at a sports bar in some outdoor shopping center near Trophy Club? I can't remember the name of it.
