Guest Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 I got my grandparents on NOW Glucosamine tablets(they have vegetarian and non veg versions)...they say it works pretty well but I think that stuff can only work so well. Rebuilding that type of tissue isn't like building muscle and I doubt they do anything substantial..vegan or not. Its more about slowing the process of ruining cartilage. Patrick Posted January 15, 2008 Share Posted January 15, 2008 Personally, I used to use Whey protein before I turned vegan, a bit more than 1 1/2 years ago. At the moment the only thing I use is either Hemp protein, and for the last 6 months I've been using Vega, the natural flavor. And some Vega Bars. Other than that, I don't really see the need to supplement. (Just my personal point of view) I used to use L-Glutamine. As vegans, we all know we are most likely to acquire a vit.
