robert
I finally did it! I know many of you have reached this number, but for me it was exciting. I finally leg pressed 20 45-pound plates. It was the first time I've pressed 900 pounds on a standard hip sled leg press. It was pretty exciting and I felt pretty strong. Previously 6 plates on each side was challenging and 7 each side was really tough and 8 each side was only attempted a couple of times per year. Now I'm up to 10 plates on each side. I got 3 reps out of it, so I won't move up too fast too soon, but I'll try to reach 20 plates in upcoming workouts. I'm doing fewer reps, stretching a ton, having long rest periods and I'm moving heavy weights. I had 2 treatments on my back this week so we'll see if it improves to the point that I can do some other exercises that I can't currently do. Anyway, I'm pumped to hit that landmark and I look forward to breaking 1000 pounds doing real reps on a leg press.

robert
Thanks. I know it's not that big of a deal to many of you and many of you can lift more than this, but it's huge for me because it's a result of consistent efforts, pushing myself to extremes and for only weighing 180 pounds, it's a good amount of weight to move. Training is fun again. In fact I look forward to it. Eating and supplementing is fun again too. 2 large 20-25 ounce smoothies a day, lots of time in the kitchen cooking up yams, etc.

DV
Well, you did eat about a pound and a half of tofu/seitan scramble. If you can continue eating like I witnessed yesterday then you'll be to 200 in no time!
