Well I start out now with vegetables, spelt bread, and a handful of seeds, I like to start the day with something easier, I digest oats a little harder so it slows me down in the morning, or the problam that I ate it raw? but if I cook it I don't like it too much

I eat oats RAW (don't tell anyone!) and my body reacts just fine. But my body is full of good ole toxins so maybe it's used to it.

A 700 calorie smoothie is quite formidable.

 

Raw oats should be fine so long as you aren't just chewing up the full groats. Other types such as rolled (I am actually not sure about steel cut) are steamed or roasted to extend their shelf life.

 

I love The Toxic Avenger. I have met the creator at a couple of nerdy horror conventions and despite how ridiculous and stupid (though wonderful) that movie and other Troma movies are, he is a genius.
