Lean and Green
Thanks DV! Always feels really good to hear your words of encouragement. You were talking about me, really? What of if you don't mind me asking, how i've progressed this year? Interesting...... Aura, I have been for for a bit now (about 2 years give or take) but this is the first extended period of feasting and consuming only liquids. I hope it does give me that 'aura' Yeh long hair is here to stay on me. Ever since I saw 'Untamed Heart' and Christian Bale with shoulder length hair when I was like 14, I thought long hair was incredibly good looking on a man; I loved his look. Around the age of 20, I started to keep longer hair. EmmyBear, thanks so much! Nice to hear the word 'cut'. I have a bit of a ways to go before i'd consider myself that but it feels really good to hear you say i'm on my way to a more sculpted body and that i've gained muscle too
DV
We were just talking about diet and bodybuilders in general, especially since I've recently been reading a couple of old classic 80's books/articles when some bodybuilders used to eat around 60% carbs whil bulking and cutting. I brought up the fact that I know of a really nice raw bodybuilding who is currently cutting (nicely) on a juice diet and has put on mass as a raw foodist. My trainer is a real sweetheart but this was just way too over his head. Keep it up. You are looking tremendous.

Im Your Man
I noticed on the juice feast that not only I recover faster and better (or in other words, need less recovery), and soreness last less than 1/2 day, but also and especially that implies that improvements are bigger each time. For instance, I was doing 20 pull-ups max, the day after or later that same day I was able to do 22, and then 25, and then 26, now 30. And samething with push-ups. 50 max, the day after I do 55 and then 60. I never experienced such quick and amazing improvements.

I was thinking the exact same thing Zack Dan, thank you much! I am glad that you feel I can inspire others. I still have a bit to go but i'm well on my way. Something just told me to stop whining about bf and do something about it. I did something that week and of course, i've been training hard all along . I really appreciate your feedback my friend.... If I had free weights perhaps I could tell better if I'm doing real progress. Funny thing is that I wanted to lose weight especially to be lighter- so faster - on my bike, but I never even thought about the difference it would make in bodyweight lifting. Lean and Green
WOW richard that just looks plain amazing the color. I am actually going to paint my body with green when i get closer to the comp and buy blue tight shorts but it seems you beat me to it! Thanks for doing this, I just put up a new avatar but may have to change it to this one over here! I think perhaps i'll ask you do do me a solid and color up the new ones when i take them in 2 weeks. You da man! Thanks Phillip! I know it's wrong of me to support burger king and i almost puked my guts out (almost ashamed to admit that) entering the store. but i was walking by and saw a hulk smash toy in the window so i went in and bought one for $1.30. The saddest people i've ever seen roaming around in there, just felt horrible to see the faces on everyone, like they had nothing left to live for. I just couldn't help myself, the toy looked so cool
phillipeb
I enjoy comics and while i am kinda anti corporation i reserve a weird double standard when it comes to my childhood and adult love of comics. DC is owned by time warner. horrible horrible. but then again they make comics about the flasshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh zoom. L*G move to utah and become my trainer mkay thanks. I find i need someone to be all like do it wimp. then ill be like im not a wimp and then snivel a bit and wipe the tear from my eye and do the 40 thousand pushups i need to do. otherwise i am kinda like looking at the weight making stories about how they came into being. so that when i see them im less intimidated... ohhh good old 35 lb barbell you would scare me if not for my knowledge of how your were birthed mainly when a unicorn ate too much ore at the center of the earth when she was visiting the snake(Nidhogg) wrapped around Yggdrasil (the tree of life). good old 35 lb barbell. so uh yeah...that was a tangent. see thats why i need professional help. hahaha

tuc
http://godfist.com/lean_and_green.jpg Lean and greenI think that's pretty much the perfect skin color. I really think we need more green people here! I think we'll have to call him Super Lean & Super Green after he finishes off his diet and paints himself. http://www.movieactors.com/freeseframes-1026/FifthElement154.jpeg SUPERGREEN! Lean and Green
one look... ONE LOOK! There's more to life than being really really riDICULOUSLY green looking Tucinator.... or is there! Phillipeb I can't tell you how many people think i'm a bit 'off'. The fact that you are as well may explain why I think you're so cool and we get along. That's the craziest most philosophical conversation i've EVER heard anyone having while they talk wih the weights. Love it
Lean and Green
The feast is practically over and I won't have the time or effort to do this on vv. It's not like ii'm going to change drastically in 2 more days. Well I am super excited about these results. I HAVE ABS!!! I am at 8% or possibly slight below bodyfat. NOTE: I was not able to train my CHEST, SHOULDERS or UPPERBACK for the last 35 somewhat days due to a secondary rotator cuff injury. I am still out of comission but am just starting to do some pushups and they feel ok. Pullups and chinups still hurt. I cannot work out my tris and bis as hard as i'd like and have to carefully select the exercises I wish to do. I can't help but wonder, had I not been injured, what my body would have looked like as I seemed to retain a good amount of lbm. BTW, I fully attribute that to the algae intake in copious amounts throughout the whole duration of the feast. I am cold flexed, no pump, didn't have time. Did 60 pushups before the pics and that was about it.
