BodhiDave85
Hope this doesnt sound like a stupid question... but do you guys use a fridge for fruits and vegetables and if you dont, why not?
Zack
I don't use it for fruits, but I do use it for veggies. Fruit around here is generally not completely ripe and if left in the fridge, would not ripen.
Zack
Here is my stash. Including my 25 lb bag of juicing carrots. This is most of my vegetables except for what's frozen (which will not end up being raw ). And it's about 1/3 of my fruit..lots of frozen berries for smoothies. The bagged spinach is lame, I know, but I use it in smoothies.

Lean and Green
yeh, depends on the ripeness of the fruit. Sometimes the bananas and avo's are already ripe and in that case i keep them in the fridge. Kiwis for some reason are never ripe when i get them so i like to leave them out. in the summertime, more fruit tends to arrive ripe also. cool stash zack. you go for all those carrots huh? i dunno if mr. wolfe would approve of that, he doesn't believe they're pure. hmmmm, haha interesting how you go for the mature coconuts, i always get the young ones. you smash em open with a hemmer afterwards to get the meat? Zack
interesting how you go for the mature coconuts, i always get the young ones. you smash em open with a hemmer afterwards to get the meat? I would totally go for the young ones, but they aren't available here... Either way, I mostly just get them for the water once in a while as a treat. I wash the outside, drill a hole in the coconut, drain it, put it in a plastic bag and beat it till it cracks. I eat some of the meat, but usually not a lot. I had young coconuts in portland this summer, they are amazing.
