Lean and Green
for those of you who haven't read "the sunfood diet success system' (david wolfe), this is an excerpt that I enjoyed. In English, avocados have been known by over forty different names, including: Alligator Pear,Butter Fruit, Butter Pear, Custard Apple, Laurel Peach, Midshipman's Butter, Shell Pear, SpanishPear, Subaltern's Butter, Testicle Fruit, and Vegetable Marrow. He claims there are over 40 different nicknames but only mentions 10. Anyone ever hear of any other nicknames for the avocado, i'm curious?
