LoganKost
I started working out about a month ago. I've been trying hard to up my calories, and my diet is getting much better because of all the helpful people on this forum! I couldnt figure out how to get the pictures showing up without the thumbnails, sorry about that! Anyways, I know I'm getting stronger because I am lifting much more than when I started, but the physical gains aren't that apparent, if there are any... let me know what you think! Richard
Hey dude, I am jealous because I wish I had that body type when I started out, I had fat all over me, so all the progress I made to start with just made me look skinnier and skinnier until eventually my muscles showed through after months and months. So you'll notice getting bigger if you bring on the food and keep up the training, since you have low fat, your muscles will be on the surface. Right now, I think you have some pretty good definition in the middle of your back in those bicep poses. Your waist is really narrow which will emphasise the width of your back if you work it. And obviously your stomach is flat, which is cool. Keep us informed
MShoulerUK
Hey Logan, Nice gains for just 1 month, in another 2 months, your before and after picture could be quite striking. Are you still eating 100% raw ? Mike
LoganKost
Thanks for the replies! I was eating 100% raw up until around 2 and a half weeks ago. I loved it, but it was really difficult for me personally to put on weight. I still eat roughly about 90% raw, however. Once I put on some weight I'm definitely going to 100% again! Spine
Great work! I definitely see some expansion starting to happen in the shoulders, chest, and back.
tuc
A significant change, but I think you need more mass if you want to grow fast. It will also help you with the strength results. How is your body weight doing? Going up already along with larger muscle mass? Anyway, you're doing a lot of things right because you are becoming stronger and it's also visible (which is a good result considering you've only been working out for a month so far). Please keep us informed of your progress, I am very interested in raw bodybuilding.

Lean and Green
From a fellow raw foodist..... you look great! You add size to the entire frame and you continue to keep lean, I love it. Keep up the progress. As far as tuc's advice goes; that boy is going to be huge, I can feel it. I love how you tell every1 to bulk up and eat those calories, you're the man. Put a smile on my face every time. enough of that, I don't want to take away from you, Logankost. I'll remember that name and look for your posts in the coming months, good job bro! Lean and Green
one more thing i forgot to mention. Get those arms up!!!!!!!! I've noticed with alot of picture threads that people don't raise their arms up high and proud and let their elbows sag so you're not alone. You want to accent your progress as much as possible and show how confident you are about what you've achieved. Google 'Double Biceps' pose and you'll see what i'm talking about. LoganKost
Thanks for all the replies everyone! Tuc: I lost some weight when I initially went 100% raw (I knew that would occur). But now that I'm more in the 80-90% range my weight is climbing again. I've gained back four pounds only, but I think it's going to start increasing pretty rapidly. It's still been hard for me to gain weight on that high percentage of a raw diet, I'll just see how it goes I guess. Lean and Green: Thanks for the tip about the pose, you're completely right, next time I take some progress pics I'll definitely take that into consideration. Thanks for the encouragement everyone, it's awesome being able to have so many helpful people on these forums. It's a definite motivation booster! MShoulerUK
Out of interest, what kind of cooked foods are you eating to help you gain weight on your raw food diet ?
LoganKost
Mostly things like beans and tofu. I have significantly increased the calories I'm eating in raw foods as well. I've started adding more things like coconut oil, almond butter, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds to my smoothies. The only cooked foods I'm eating are usually very calorie dense. I have also been eating more oatmeal and a lot of cooked red potatoes (I love those things). If you have any ideas on what would be better to eat then I'd really appreciate it! I could use all the help I can get.
